Fate Intended? ... I Think So!

Was it fate that I hit up the fabulous Elizabeth Seckman for an interview? I don't know. But it probably was fate that I found her in the blogosphere around a year ago, fell in love with her fun, zany personality, bought and read her first book, and fell in love with it... and the next one after that! I just can't get enough of her! So, in honor of her latest novel, Fate Intended, I invited her over for a short Q&A.

Hello my favorite lady!
ME?! THE fave? Not A fave? I am so flattered...note to self...must send Leigh chocolate.

Are you ready to answer some questions?
My lawyer says yes.

I'll keep them fun and simple! Short and sweet! It’s the best way to go!
So... I frequently get weird thoughts in my head (I'm a writer, so it's acceptable, right? Totally!!) and these thoughts have turned into your first question!
*drum roll*
If you could be on any tv show (should I call it a talk show?) which one would it be and why? (So like Oprah, Ellen, Conan... I dunno!) And... who else would be on the show with you that day, and why? (Ahem, you can't choose Gerard Butler, cause he's my choice.)

Ellen would be the best place to reach my target audience (chicks!), but I can't help but want to go "Between the Ferns" with Zach Galifianakis. You know how some people want to challenge themselves by climbing a mountain? Surviving an interview with that crazy man would be my Mt. Everest
And, I want to share my seat with Thor. And no I don't mean Chris Hemsworth as himself...he has to be Thor...hammer and all.

Okay - I'm a little embarrassed to admit I had to google Zach Galifianakis and "Between the Ferns". And yes, I do know who he is, I'm just terrible with names. Never seen the show though, so I watched a clip of him and President Obama and you are indeed right - you would definitely be climbing a mountain! It would be nice a good idea to have Thor by your side to survive him! They should give people trophies for those interviews. LOL. As for me... I would stick with Ellen, who would totally be my first choice anyway because I just love everything about her and the only thing I'd have to worry about would be somebody jumping out to scare me.

I've never watched Ellen. Can you believe that? But she does seem sweet and more of her viewers would be my kind of readers!

Yes, that would be a great show for your readers, but that Galifianakis guy would get you’re a trophy! *cheers* But let's move on!
You've survived the Zach Galifianakis interview and received your trophy... what's next? What are three goals on your bucket list?
1. Meet all my bloggy friends. Wouldn't it be cool to have a big conference and everyone attend?
2. Travel the US and then the world. I want to see everything.
3. Organize my house. I want closets that look like I am OCD.

I AM OCD and my closets still don't look that way! It's a curse! I absolutely love your bucket list. We must have been related in a different life! And I completely agree about a conference that we were ALL at! That would be the BEST!
But one more thing before I let you go...
Can you give a little hint about your current WIP?

I'm working on a few things. I'm working on another contemporary adult story, having some fun adding in some gal pal delivered street justice; an NA novel addressing Tanner Coulter's happily ever after; and I am working with Tammy Theriault on a YA collaboration, which I have NEVER done a YA, so it's a learning experience!

AH! So many great things coming from you in the future! I look forward to it all, and I know you will be marvelous at YA too! Thank you so much for coming by and sharing all this awesomeness with us! AND… congrats on your latest release, Fate Intended!

Thanks Leigh! You totally, seriously rock and I love you bunches. You always bring a smile to my face and a glow to my heart! If the world was filled with people as awesome as you, it's be like Disney Land every day with free pass coupons.

And in honor of our lady crushes... here's a little sneak peek from me and Elizabeth's double date with Thor and Gerard. We make the cutest couples, don't you think? Shhhh - don't tell our husbands!
I think it was fate that we met these fabulous men! Ooh-la-la! If only Gerard knew what a cute couple we make!
 Blurb for Fate Intended:
Trip is the last of the Coulter sons to find love. He’s smart…he’s handsome…he’s a shadow op. He’s a man with all the skills a spy needs. But when it comes to relationships, he misses the target. Jane is sweet…she’s beautiful…she’s a cleaning lady. She’s a woman with all the skills a lady needs to sweep a man’s heart right into her hands. She may be wanted for murder, but she has her sights set on Trip. Trip sees her every day, but he never really sees her at all until fate and his bitchy girlfriend bring them together. Nothing about Olivia is average. Not her looks, her body, nor her obnoxiousness. When Olivia turns her full fury on Jane, it’s Trip to the emotional rescue. For him, it’s an opportunity to make amends. For Jane, it’s an opportunity to make dreams come true…to make reality as it was intended to be.

I am a former social worker, constant day dreamer, and mother of four fabulous boys. I have two books completed in the Coulter Men series, PAST DUE & HEALING SUMMER. The third, FATE INTENDED, is set for full release on December 1, 2013.

I also have a house in desperate need of cleaning. No set date on completion.

Ah! And if all of this wasn't enough, Elizabeth, (being the uber fab lady that she is) is giving away a signed copy of one of her books! Winners choice! Just enter below, and GOOD LUCK!

The REAL Winner... & the REAL THING Cover Reveal!

A quick shout out the Lovely Laura who is the winner of an eBook for Road to Somewhere by Kelley Lynn and Jenny Morris! Congratulations Laura! I will be in touch!
And then, I have fun news about a cover reveal for a new book by Cassie Mae!
So, this book... it's about this girl.
And she loves her online time.
Her phone is her buddy.
And her favorite app is her Kindle, because she also LOVES to read.
Read a lot.
Then there's this boy.
He's best friends with this bookworm girl.
He sort of has a thing for her.
But, he's also got major anxiety.
And isn't sure how to make a move.
So when they end up rooming together for the summer, this guy tries to get this girl to put the screen away long enough for him to win her over.
But of course, it's not easy to unplug. Especially for an internet junkie.
Hmm... that girl sounds pretty familiar ;)
And here's the hawt cover for it!
And here's the actual blurb, and not my picture version :)
Eric Matua has one friend—his best friend and childhood sweetheart, who needs a place to stay for the summer. Mia Johnson has thousands of friends—who live in her computer. Along with her email chats and Facebook notifications, Mia also devours romance novels, spending countless hours with fictional characters, dreaming of her own Romeo to sweep her off her feet. When she starts receiving supersweet messages from a stranger who thinks she’s someone else, Mia begins to believe that real love is possible outside her virtual world.
When the two friends become roommates, Mia finds herself falling harder than she ever thought she could. But Eric keeps his desires locked away, unsure of himself and his ability to give his best friend what she deserves in a boyfriend. As her advances are continually spurned, Mia splits her time between Eric and her computer. But she soon realizes she’s about to lose the only real thing she’s ever had.
About Cassie Mae :)
Cassie Mae is a nerd to the core from Utah, who likes to write about other nerds who find love. She’s the author of the Amazon Bestsellers REASONS I FELL FOR THE FUNNY FAT FRIEND and HOW TO DATE A NERD, and is the debut author for the Random House FLIRT line with her New Adult novels FRIDAY NIGHT ALIBI and SWITCHED. She spends time with her angel children and perfect husband who fan her and feed her grapes while she clacks away on the keyboard. Then she wakes up from that dream world and manages to get a few words on the computer while the house explodes around her. When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with the youth in her community as a volleyball and basketball coach, or searching the house desperately for chocolate.
Happy Monday Everyone! What are reading this week?

Road to Somewhere... GIVEAWAY!

Happy Wednesday Everyone! And FYI... my regularly scheduled blogging time will be on Wednesdays!

Today, I have something super exciting to share. I've been dying to read this FOREVER because these two lovely ladies are fantastic writers and I adore them. I'm excited to see what they do with double the awesomesauce!
INTRODUCING...

BY KELLEY LYNN & JENNY S. MORRIS
Blurb from Goodreads:
New! From Bloomsbury Spark, a sunny heartwarming story of discovery and sisterhood.

A road trip. A singing competition. And super-hot cowboys.

What could be better?

For Charlie, a post-high school road trip isn't just a vacation, it's life changing. While her parents think she's helping a friend move, a chance at fame is the real reason to grab her best friends and drive to L.A. But when her super annoying, uber-responsible, younger sister, Lucy, has to tag along, it isn't quite the summer of fun she imagined.

Add in a detour to her grandparents' ranch in Texas, and between mucking the stalls, down-home cookin’, and drool worthy ranch hands, this could just turn into the best, and most complicated, summer of their lives.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Kelley Lynn was born and raised a Midwestern girl. She’s not afraid to sweat and fills her
free time with softball, soccer and volleyball. (Though you probably don’t want her on your volleyball team.) She occasionally makes guest appearances as a female vocalist for area bands. Music plays a large role in her writing process as well as the characters and plot lines within her stories.
Jenny S. Morris
Jenny S. Morris is a YA author who loves all things geek, may have a Kdrama addiction, and prefers the rainy NW to any place she's ever lived. Road to Somewhere is her debut novel.

And you probably noticed that I mentioned a GIVEAWAY!!! So enter below! I will be giving away an eBook (your choice of Barnes & Noble or Amazon!) So GOOD LUCK!

Marie Lu - Legend Trilogy & Other Stuff

Who has read the LEGEND trilogy by Marie Lu?
I absolutely LOVED LEGEND,
thought PRODIGY was pretty good,
and CHAMPION is excellent!
If you're looking for a good set of books to get hooked on, this is one I would highly recommend. Lu does a great job of building suspense and keeping you guessing - which I love! Too often, I can anticipate what's going to happen next, so I love an author who keeps me wondering or surprises me. The characters are fantastic and fascinating. You really get caught up in their world and who they are. And Lu writes a fantastic action scene! Props for building tension! These are definitely a worthwhile read!
Also, in case you didn't know... I am being interviewed by the fabulous Tammy Theriault today! She is brave enough to let me visit her blog... or maybe I was the brave one to visit. You be the judge. Her interviews are so much fun and she definitely keeps you on your toes! I even get a special button just for surviving!!! Hop on over and say "hello!"
Have you read any of the books in the LEGEND trilogy? What did you think of them? Anyone else survived an interview with Tammy? She really is fantastic, isn't she? And HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY - especially to the fabulous Mark Koopmans!

I'm BACK... with a Cover Reveal!

I'm very excited to be back in the blogosphere! I've missed you guys! Like more than I can tell you. I miss your love and support and I miss knowing what everyone is doing. If you're curious about me, I'm going to school, on top of work and being a mom. My writing has slowed down more than I care to admit, but the dream is not gone! IT WILL HAPPEN!!! But, while I don't have much more time on my hands, I want to get involved and get to know what's going on with all of you! So here's the plan...
For the time being I will be posting new releases, cover reveals, and interviews!!! (Hopefully, at least once a week!)
If you have an upcoming book release or cover reveal, please email me. You can find my information HERE.

Also... I had to do a revamp of the blog and I am so grateful to The Blog Decorator for giving me my new look! She was so fun and fabulous to work with. If you're thinking of a getting a new blog design, I would highly recommend her!

As for today, I am thrilled to share a cover reveal for the fabulous Georgia St. Mane, and her upcoming New Adult Novella, OVER THE OCEAN.

Here's the Blurb:
When Bree meets Logan, and hears his oh-so-sexy British accent, it's lust at first sight.

Bree thinks Logan feels the same way, especially when they're snuggled up on her couch with his tongue down her throat. But when Logan decides that getting into a relationship when he only has a few months left in the States is a bad idea, Bree agrees to be "just friends."

But every time he flashes his swoon-worthy smile, complete with dimples, Bree has a hard time keeping her thoughts in the "friend zone."

And a little teaser:
And, at last...the COVER!
it's fabulous Georgia! I absolutely love it!

About the Author:
Georgia St. Mane is married with four kids. She's passionate about writing, reading, and theater. She thinks everyone deserves their own love story. Georgia also writes YA as Rachel Schieffelbein.

Congratulations Georgia! This is fabulous! I had a great time reading it and can't wait to have my hands on it again!
