The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I'm not talking Christmas, people...
I'm talking the REAL most wonderful time of year...
SCHOOL SUPPLY SEASON!!!

And I know you agree with me. As soon as the stores start filling up with all this wonderful stuff I get a little giddy inside! In fact, I'd much rather shop in Office Max or Office Depot than at the mall. And I finally took my kids to get school supplies the other day and it was great. It would be even better if I was only shopping for myself, but that's okay. I don't use crayons very much these days but at least I can buy them for my kids. And I definitely slipped in a few cute notebooks for myself.

The only down side to this time of year is the lack of blogging going on, and I'm probably one of the worst! But, as I've meandered back into the blogosphere, I've noticed a lot of others are on blogging hiatus for a while too. So let me just say... KUDOS to you guys who are still rocking it and going strong! That's awesome! I am hoping to get back to blogging once a week on Monday's. I'm crossing my fingers.

So, what are you working on right now? Tell me about your current WIP. Do you love school supply season?

I love school supplies, too. Notebooks, pens. I just love the feel of them in my hands. Right now I'm working on articles.

This IS the most wonderful time of the year!!! Well, maybe not for my wallet, LoL! Whenever my husband and I get separated at Target, he knows he'll find in one of two places: the book section or the office supply section!

This past weekend my 13-year-old niece, who is really into fashion, asked me what my favorite store is. I said, "Staples. Or any bookstore." I didn't realize until a second later that she meant favorite clothing store, hahaha.

Happy reading and writing! from Laura Marcella @ Wavy Lines

I would much rather shop for books and school supplies than clothes or shoes. Just bought myself a new flash drive - shaped like a Minion! :)

Oh. My. Gosh. I LOVE school supply season. As a homeschool mama, I get absolutely giddy and stock up on EVERYTHING. Cases of notebooks, markers, crayons, etc. I love it, lol!

I loved school shopping as a kid, because I loved school. But how fun was it to get new notebooks and folders.

I just did my kids' shopping the other day, and even though I have plenty of spiral notebooks, I had to get a few more. :)

Ugh, as a recently graduated student and soon-to-be adjunct, school supply season is not one of my faves. ;)

Have fun, no fighting over pencils. Just teasing.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES ROCK!!!!

the only problem is that I've been "stocking up" for long enough that I won't need another note book until 2020.

I bought a new one anyways...

I just went school shopping for my kiddo for the first time!!! Oh, it was such excitement :) I really did have a blast with him, and I wanted to get all this discounted stuff for myself. And because i'm the mom now, I did, lol!

I love school supply season! I've already taken my three and four year old. No they're not in school but everyone needs notebooks.

My 16 year old daughter will be glad to know she's not the only one giddy about school supplies. She loves going to Staples. At least it takes very little money-wise to get her excited.

Yes, summer is quieter blog-wise. I did not take off as much as I would have liked. I think next summer I'm going to be stricter about just blogging on Mondays. Looking forward to you blogging more.

No school supplies, but my wife did pick up some notebooks.
Still here! Just twice a week this summer but it's working.

I love school supplies, too! (Just wish I could afford them easier, LOL.) I've also been terrible at blogging lately, but I'm trying to get back in the saddle again. :-)

Last year, Wal Mart had notebooks for ten cents! I still have a box full waiting for my magical scribbles!

it's agony for me. so, i have to wait on the district to approve the kids' transfer every year, which is like 2 weeks from the first day, so when i go, i scramble to MULTIPLE stores cause everything is out!!! shop for me???

I'm with you on the school supply season! No kids in school yet, but I've always loved this shopping season. WIP is a website update and spit shining the memoir. See you on Mondays or whenever you show up in my inbox. :)
