No Excuses!
I've was totally MIA last week - sorry! I hate weeks like that. It seems like my entire family has large items on their to-do list that they need my help with. I love helping them, but sometimes I miss marking things off my to-do list! So, today I am getting pumped up and ready for a week of successful writing, and I'm doing it over at Falling for Fiction! I always say taking care of yourself and what you want makes you a better friend/relative/colleague/whatever! I don't mean that in a grab-everything-for-yourself-and-who-cares-about-everyone-else way; I've just noticed that when peple are happier and more fulfilled, they find it easier to spread the love. It isn't selfish. I think this is a problem women especially suffer from - I'm always telling my mum to put herself first more often.
Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do - not an excuse! Headin' on over...

Haha, I feel like I have been hearing this quote in different forms a lot lately. Maybe because I have a ton of excuses! Ah, snap.
But I understand that sometimes we have reasons, which aren't the same as excuses.
