"Z" --- The End of the Challenge!

Wahoo!!! I made it through the A-Z Challenge!!! And it was awesome! I honestly didn't know what to expect with this challenge since I wasn't blogging during this time last year... but... I really enjoyed myself! AND, I met some wonderful new peeps who I know I will be stalking through the blogosphere! It's been a blast!

So, in honor of Z... here's a few "Z-words" I like!

 zeal·ot/ˈzelət/

1. A person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious, political or other ideals.

za·ny/ˈzānē

1. An erratic or eccentric person

2. Amusingly unconventional and idiosyncratic

zeal/zēl/

1.  Great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective

Alright everyone... it's been a blast! Thanks so much for all your support and for all the new friends! You guys are great! I will be posting less often now. April was busy with birthday and other fun, so May is going to be full of writing! Wahoo!

 Any "Z-Words" you're fond of?

My word today was "zest" but I like "zeal," too. :)

This Challenge was so much fun - exhausting but fun. :)

Congrats on finishing!!! I did too, and I'm quite grateful it's over because during the A-Z I always miss being able to post what I want, when I want to. ;) But it certainly has been fun, though not ideal for me (but I'll write about that in my May 7th reflection post!).

I'm not quite sure of the spelling, since I've never found it in a German dictionary (perhaps it even starts with an S!), but I've always loved the word Zeigenhaf. I got it from the old CD-ROM Mac game The Dissonance Quartet, and Mozart often uttered that word when a player got an embarrassingly wrong answer, or when he seemed to be surprised or happy. I use it as a catch-all phrase for shock, happiness, surprise, disgust, etc. I'm guessing it means something like "Oh, wow" or "Good grief."

Yes, I look like an idiot doing it, but it's so fun to say. :)

Yay for May... may it be the month of all things accomplishing! And have you ever been called Zany? You're a pretty eccentric person! (It takes one to know one... maybe)

I'm going with Zany, too.

(It's a perfect descriptor for you and at least two other peeps I know from UT :)

Great words. My favourite Z is zigzag - or even zigga zig aaah (but you have to sing that one, and I don't sing in public!)

What a great month it's been. Congratulations on finishing.

Real zaney, Leigh. ;) All I could think during this post was, "Mmmm, Zorro...."

I agree, it's been a fun challenge. Great z words. My favorite is zaftig, and I wrote about it. :-)

Zorro! Okay, so it's a person. But I still liked it when Antonio portrayed him. Yummy. :)

Enjoyed your many posts. As I looked at the burning Z, all I could think of was a sacred burning. You had finished, had a great time, and now it was time to finish off the month with a sacred burning. How appropriate. I know, you think I'm crazy -- but that's what I saw.:)
